I believe that reassurance is the most important thing when receiving medical treatment. In addition, it is necessary for me to make people who visit my clinic more relaxed, compared with before visiting. Making patients feel better through medication and other means is my duty.

However, no medicine is without side-effects. I have always done my best to reassure my patients while being honest and sincere.

This is the main reason I chose to be a pediatrician. From a child’s perspective, everyday is filled with discovery and learning. I wish to live all of my life like that. Diagnosis and treatment for children’s fever, nasal symptoms, cough and tummy ache, etc.

Pediatric asthma

Although people say “Most pediatric asthma improves by adolescence”, it doesn't mean medications aren't necessary. Asthma is the airway’s(bronchial tubes’) status repeatedly narrowing. And the frequency and the grade are different for each person. It is sometimes necessary for patients to receive medical examinations or treatments to manage the asthma according to its grade.

Hay fever, Food allergy

“Hay fever” is a generic name for allergies caused by pollen. “Food allergy” is a generic name for allergies caused by food. Although the generic names are the same, the symptoms and the grade vary from person to person. It is sometimes necessary for patients to receive medical examinations or treatments to manage their condition according to its grade.

Vaccination

In my clinic, you can receive all mandatory vaccinations and most voluntary vaccinations. For online booking(Japanese input only), you are automatically set up with the appropriate vaccine schedule and you can receive vaccinations. In the case that your birth country isn’t Japan, or that the vaccine's regular schedule is delayed, we will consult with you individually outside of the online booking system to prevent any problems at the time of vaccination.

Consultation about health, nutrition and development

I consult with you about each child’s health, nutrition and development according to their personality and growth, not according to a “manual”. If your child needs more high level or specialized medical care, I will make a referral to a hospital or to see a specialist.

CHINESE MEDICINE

To aid the understanding of children’s conditions, I examine by palpation

I believe the palpation technique is very useful to investigate a patient’s condition. Children can't always explain their own conditions very well, so I believe the palpation is a very good way to understand it. I wish to establish it as a way to investigate childhood conditions. This is the thesis in my life. Therefore I have gone to China many times, and continue making efforts to learn the real Chinese medicine.
